Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to book corporate, group, and leisure business.
Create new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and implement sales strategies
Coordinate all activities to maintain and increase revenue and market share
Analyze current/potential market and sales trends
Create hotel-level sales plans
Develop and maintain professional relationships with top clients to encourage group business
Maintain professional relationships with representatives of local community groups and companies
Attend conventions and trade shows to promote new business and increase sales for the hotel as determined by upper management
Generating reports for management
Any additional job duties as assigned by management
Meet or exceed RevPar index goals set by company
Create yearly Sales and Marketing plans for your hotel
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience in hospitality or hotel sales
Computer proficiency and technical versatility
Ability to work well in a team of professionals
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate a positive, professional, and team attitude toward coworkers, internal and external customers, and management
Build and maintain inter-department relationships
