Account Planner Job Opening in austin, Texas - Account Planner Sanders\Wingo, a hip, fully integrated, national-in-scope advertising agency with Fortune 500 client currently seeks candidates for the Account Planner position. Candidates should be very adept at reading and understanding numbers as they pertain to advertising and marketing world, but more importantly they must be able to decipher the emotional and instinctual WHY consumers buy what they buy. This role will work in the following areas: ? Translate strategic propositions into creative ideas ? Marketing campaign analytics (in conjunction with other team members) ? Demographic research (general market and multicultural) ? Consumer trends analysis ? Business and product evolution trends ? research ? Creative brief writing ? Conduct monthly business performance analysis and Competitive Messaging ? Competitive Research ? Conduct consumer behavioral research providing strategic recommendations for client-consumer engagement opportunities ? Manage and facilitate research initiatives for other clients including focus groups, in-market surveys, behavioral analysis and market trends. Candidates should also be proficient in using proprietary research tools such as Lexis/Nexis, Iconoculture, Mintel, ESRI and other tools used to understand client business activities and marketplace conditions. Ideal candidates will have 2 to 3 years experience at an agency serving in a planning or research capacity. Excellent writing, oral communication and PowerPoint skills are also a must have along with the ability to communicate vital information on a consistent basis to ensure team members are kept up to date on business and market developments as they happen.
