Bilingual Accountant / Bookkeeper Job Opening in Nashville, Tennessee - We are seeking a bilingual , who can speak both Chinese and English. He or she performs varied work assignments with limited supervision, conducts moderately complex accounting activities, and brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
Financial Data Management
Prepare journal entries
Prepare accruals and other adjusting entries
Prepare reconciliations
Reconcile corporate business card
Perform bank reconciliation
Financial Analysis
Identify and research account discrepancies
Define and post reclass entries as needed
Review general ledger accounts and correct journal entries
Perform accounting analysis, such as, but not limited to: balance sheet accounts, expense and salary accruals, department expense analysis, prepaid and insurance, travel expenses, etc
Budgeting and Reporting
Prepare financial reports and related statements, charts, tables and other exhibits
Assist in budget/forecast preparation
Accounts Payable
Perform all parts of the accounts payable cycle including scanning and import of invoices in document workflow, voucher coding, input and posting
Manage aging, process electronic payments, checks, obtain appropriate signatures, mail and file
Research and resolve account issues with vendors
1099 preparation and processing
Participate in the month-end process to close the books in a timely manner
Office Administrative
Other miscellaneous office administrative support responsibilities like purchasing, reception, answering telephones, responding to inquiries, and assisting the public via phone and email
Managing facility renovation projects and office supply & warehouse equipment purchase/lease
Planning and scheduling meetings and appointments, organizing hard copy and electronic files
Creating spreadsheets, presentations, documents and reports
Monitoring and recording petty cash expenditures
Organizing, coordinating and supporting company events and/or other administrative initiatives
Work closely with other areas of administrative teams like facility, IT, HR, sales, warehouse operation etc, supporting and cross-covering each other?s activities if needed
