About the Project Coordinator Position
The project coordinator position is wide ranging with a variety of administrative and organizational tasks. The project coordinator is assigned to a variety of projects and works hand in hand with clients, architects, sub-contractors, suppliers, project managers and partners. The project coordinator assists the project manager with administrative tasks such as organizing meetings, developing material schedules based on project specifications, sourcing and ordering materials, scheduling subcontractors.

Project coordinators are expected to handle a wide variety of tasks and communicate regularly and effectively with clients and industry professionals.
Job Responsibilities and Tasks
Organize meetings, create agendas, take minutes and work with clients, architects and interior designers to assist in making material selections (plumbing fixtures, tile, tops, appliances and much more).
Extract material information from project plans and architect schedules to create material schedules.
Organize project tasks and follow up with the project manager, sub-contractors, material suppliers and others to ensure project runs smoothly.
Control the administrative side of jobs by developing and documenting change orders, price items from sub-contractors and material suppliers, research materials and work closely with accounting.
Organize files, proposals, product specs and project plans
Job Skills
Excellent organizational skills required
Must have strong people skills, be professional with a positive attitude
Must be a team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed
Ability to multi task and handle multiple projects
Ability to work with the company?s procedures and systems
Strong documentation and writing skills
Qualifications
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
Must have prior experience working in a demanding administrative position or an educational background related to the construction field or business administration
Experience working with Bluebeam is preferred. Must be willing to learn basic Bluebeam tasks
Ability to read construction plans preferred
Experience working in the high-end home construction industry a plus
