Staff Accountant Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Utilize knowledge of general accounting principles for daily work
Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory responsibilities and reports
Perform timely and accurate processing of financial transactions including payroll, accounts payables, expense reports, cash flow transactions and taxes
Accurately enter data into systems
Create and maintain spreadsheets and other reports
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
Perform reconciliations with attention to detail
Assist with month end close
Perform other accounting, financial and administrative tasks as requested from time to time
