Financial Analyst Job Opening in Wauseon, Ohio - Reporting to the Controller, this position will provide the right candidate with a variety of challenges and the opportunity to contribute immediately to the success of a growing manufacturing company. Responsibilities:
Monitoring and posting customers payments (cash, checks, credit card transactions and wire transfers)
Reconciling the A/R ledger to the general ledger daily
Managing the A/R collection efforts, using excellent customer service, negotiation and communication skills
Researching and analyzing A/R reports, and resolving disputes and discrepancies by communicating with customers and/or the sales team
Acting as receptionist at our Wauseon, Ohio facility
Preparing and analyzing daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports
Maintaining an attitude of continuous improvement, seeking (and implementing) positive change
All other duties/special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems, Epicor Vantage preferred
5+ years? experience working in finance and/or accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, preferably advanced experience using Excel
Ability to research, compile, analyze, and interpret data
High level of attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to navigate language and cultural differences in collection activities
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Structured, organized and process-focused work style
