NDCT is currently seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst. Under general direction of the Assistant Controller the Financial Reporting Analyst prepares monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. The Financial Reporting Analyst also performs detailed analysis of financial results and budget to actual variances.
Desired Skills
Minimum 2-3 years accounting experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment using an ERP system preferably Oracle
Organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently
Focused and able to prioritize and deliver planned results in a fast-paced environment
Ability to define a problem, collect data, establish facts and draw a valid conclusion
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, strong Excel skills
Functions of the Job
Preparation of monthly Flash, Daily Orders/Sales
Ensure that fixed assets comply with the company capitalization and depreciation policies, reconciling fixed assets to general ledger, maintaining depreciation schedules and provide reporting in capital spend to budget
Perform account reconciliations and other monthly general journal entries
Detailed analysis of financial results and budget to actual variances
Assists in preparation of monthly management reports
Prepares routine ad hoc reports for internal and external reporting according to government, corporate and company policy
Assists with testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of internal accounting systems
Assists with preparation of data for financial audits and forecasts
Responsible for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving accounting problems and discrepancies making corrections as necessary
Maintain work instructions and procedures for all tasks
Provide and participate in cross-training as appropriate
Complete various tasks as assigned by the Assistant Controller or Global Controller
All other duties as assigned
