The staff accountant responsibilities include :
Income Tax Preparation for individuals and business entities (i.e., corporations & partnerships)
Tax Research
Client Write-Up , including adjusting entries and review of general ledger
Compile Financial Statement for review by Engagement Partner
Payroll Processing
Payroll Tax Returns
Sales & Business Property Tax Return Preparation
Requirements and Qualifications:
Four (4) year Accounting degree required
CPA or CPA candidate, preferred
2 to 5 years tax experience
Current knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
Strong computer skills
Analytical with attention to details
Excellent ability to communicate professionally, written and oral
Perform several task concurrently & flexibility to change tasks when needed
Team-oriented
Maintain confidential data
Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience
