The Position
The ideal candidate for the Inside Sales Representative will be a hands-on professional who will be expected to offer ideas and suggestions on improving the work processes to improve the utilization of resources and to contribute to the success of the team by achieving the overall plant goals set forth in the operation and be rewarded financially for doing so through a quarterly employee bonus.
Duties include (but are not limited to) the following:
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Winning new business and gaining new customers.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate effectively with customers to provide Exceptional Customer Care.
Maintain an understanding of EFG divisional capabilities and work with multiple divisions, when necessary, to serve the customer as a ?one-stop? source.
Perform timely quote follow-ups, working with other EFG team members during negotiations to review quotes and make necessary adjustments with the goal of winning the business.
Understand basic fastener terminology and communicate with others to remove hurdles and win new business.
Provide support to other EFG team members to assist in winning new business.
Review customer orders and ensure that their written expectations match our quoted offer.
Work closely with and assist engineers, estimators, and other EFG team members to compile offers that meet the customer?s needs as well as EFG profit goals.
Work as a team with RSM?s and KAM?s with a goal of winning new business.
Track ongoing projects and work to turn them into an order that meets EFG profit goals.
Build strong customer relationships
Knowledge and skills required:
Educational Requirements: 4-year technical or business degree or equivalent work experience
Language: Fluent and well-spoken with excellent communication skills
Minimum 5 years sales experience, Fastener experience preferred
Excellent computer systems skills which include:
MS-Office: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Knowledge of ERP systems
Excellent math and logic skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong focus on ?Doing it right?
High passion, energy, drive, and intelligence
High levels of initiative and curiosity
Strong sense of urgency
Essential Job Functions:
Operate computer and keyboard; able to use phone; sit for long periods; communicate using speech, hearing and vision skills.
