WOW Logistics is currently looking for a Manager Business Analysis & Quality Assurance at our corporate location!
The Manager Business Analysis and Quality Assurance (BAQA) operates as the spokesperson for the business. Agile user stories, GAP analysis plans, user experience and quality for our core warehouse management and related applications. The Manager leads the full understanding of the business needs and requirements, using agile methodologies and techniques. The Manager ensures that user efficiency experience is maximized by embedding great user interfaces and ensuring that quality of the system at the technical and user-level meet expectations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the Business Analysis and Quality Assurance team, providing leadership, coaching, for this part of the development team. Ensure that processes and tools are available to facilitate the team?s workings.
Manage the applicable parts of a comprehensive software development lifecycle to achieve great IT applications that provide a superb user experience, produce results in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. Measurement of success will be expressed in Key Performance Indicators such as user/customer satisfaction, error rate, degree of business process coverage, etc.
Relate business needs and IT requirements in ways that solve issues, create value propositions and show alignment with firm objectives and priorities.
Translate and delegate work, making sure that team expectations are set, use firm standards and where needed enrich these to achieve clear objectives for the teams and team members.
50% of this position will include doing business analysis and working closely with business & developers throughout the life cycle of the project to ensure the business requirements are understood and met. Capture and communicate questions and changes to project stakeholders for discussion and approval.
Qualifications:
2 years of direct managerial experience leading a business analysis team.
Experience in Agile methodologies; leading Scrums, coaching teams as so to ensure adoptions and sustainability of Agile methods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical as well as product AND project management skills.
Ability to facilitate requirements gathering, including conflict resolution, evaluate information provided from multiple sources, and bring to consensus.
Ability to distinguish user requests from the actual underlying needs.
Desired Qualifications:
CSPO or PSPO certification.
Experience with Warehousing and/or Logistics.
Familiarity with requirements management systems like Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
