Medical Records Auditor/Trainer Job Opening in North Chicago, Illinois - Seeking credentialed and experienced medical records auditor to work onsite . Candidate will review medical record documentation and physician services utilizing current ICD-10 and CPT classifications systems; audit coding, formulate training plans and individual/group training, and follow up on issues or trends found within the documentation of a particular physician for evaluation and further training. Excellent attention to detail, strong computer skills, and experience working with physicians a plus. Able to work independently and effectively in order to meet work quota. Must be able to audit minimum 60 outpatient encounters at minimum 96% accuracy daily. CPC, CIC, COC, CPMA, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA certification is required. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 2 years work experience in auditing and training. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and strong presentation skills. Must be able to satisfy the eligibility requirements for obtaining a government issued security clearance(Must BE US Citizen). Physical and annual immunizations as well as TB testing and flu shots required.
