Assignment Capsule
The Scheduling Specialist is responsible for carrying out the day to day paraprofessional scheduling and general office functions of the branch. The Scheduling Specialist may be responsible for part or all of the following:
Ensures that requests for homecare services are promptly filled and scheduled into Rosalind in a timely manner
Ensures that homecare schedules are complete and accurate in Rosalind
Reviews Santrax records daily to ensure that all staff are at client visits as scheduled; follows up immediately on any discrepancies
Monitors "No Show Alerts" and follows up to resolve in a timely manner
Reviews all homecare schedules daily in preparation for payroll and obtains billing approvals by manager as needed
Reports any client or staff issues to supervisor promptly
Participates in administrative ?on-call?* communication with staff and/or family members regarding schedule changes with professional staff
General Office Functions:
Answers phones and triages calls to appropriate professionals in the branch
Ensures sufficient supplies, stationary and forms on hand in the branch
Performs accurate data entry and files office records
Performs any other functions as requested by supervisor

Must Have:
High school diploma/GED * At least 1 year of Home Care experience * Ability to build strong working relationships, internally and externally * Strong computer skills * Demonstrated high-quality customer service skills, preferably in healthcare or high-end service business * Strong attention to detail; ability to manage many details related to data entry, scheduling, follow-up requests and file maintenance
