The Challenge:
The Software Engineer will design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and deployment. The Software Engineer will participate in:
Architecture and requirements reviews
Peer reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications
Ensuring that the requirements are interpreted correctly
Job Requirements:
Design, Code, Test, and Debug OS-level drivers and Board Support Packages
Modify existing C++ codebase to adapt to new hardware, and interface with new BSP
Review code and design
Interface with hardware and firmware design and development
Work to implement an Anti-Tamper solution
Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources*

Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering and 10 years work experience in Software Engineering OR equivalent experience
Required Skills and Experience:
US Citizenship US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) Security Clearance.
Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multi-tasking real-time operating systems (e.g. Green Hills, VxWorks)
Experience with Board Support Package Development
Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
Proficient in C or C++
Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with Green Hills Integrity
Experience with ARINC-653 compliant operating systems
Knowledge necessary to write requirement specifications
Experience with development and execution of verification and validation procedures
Basic understanding of Software Security
Willingness to travel 10% CONUS and OCUNUS
