Clinic Manager - Modesto Job Opening in Modesto, California - arge, multi-state specialty group is looking for a medical office manager to manage our northern california clinics. Main regional clinic is in Modesto with some travel required between branch clinics in different locations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Train clinic staff
Monitor and evaluate staff performance
Schedule staff to meet operational requirements
Implement and monitor office policies and procedures
Manage insurance contracts and ensure compliance with contracts
Responsible for facility cleaning, hygiene, safety and maintenance
Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and ethics
Keep track of equipment and devices and manage inventory
Liaise with vendors regarding equipment and supplies
Ensure patient records are current and accurate
Supervise patient scheduling
Oversee registration of patients
Supervise medical coding, medical billing and banking
Marketing to potential referral sources
Provide education material to patients
Communicate with patients regarding inquiries and complaints
Ensure patient satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years experience working in a medical clinic, with front and back office competence, and increasing management responsibilities
Knowledge of medical issues, terminology, and coding
Knowledge of state and federal regulations and laws (such as HIPAA and OSHA)
Computer skills (fluent in MS Word and Excel, eClinical EMR experience a plus)
Experience in a human resources role, including hiring staff
Strong communication and problem solving skills
A tolerance for stress
