The Compliance Generalist will help to maintain the Compliance Portal and is responsible for assisting the Compliance Manager in performing all duties related to previewing, editing and posting SynerMed policies and procedures.
Other duties will include:
Assist the Compliance Director with communications related to regulatory updates, compliance reminders and maintaining the company's policies and procedures
Help shepherd a policy and procedure document through the approval process and ensure it is reviewed annually, or as regulations are changed
Risk assessment, internal auditing and internal monitoring, in addition to external audits and other ad hoc assignments
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, SKILLS:
2-5 years of compliance experience in the managed care industry, or related health care industry
Experience working with federal and state agencies that regulate health clinics, practitioners and/or government health care programs, with a demonstrated history of managing and ensuring compliance to these regulations.
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Experience with MS Office
Bachelor's degree or related experience
