Job Description:
Issue invoices to customers
Issue monthly customer statements
Update customer files with issued invoices
Process credit memos/Debit Memos
Update the customer master file with contact information
Enter invoices into customer invoicing web sites
Generating Price Tags for our showrooms and Shows
Contact customers with concerns and/or inquiries regarding delinquent account balances
Run AR Summary Aging for distribution to team
Meet with team members to review problematic accounts and suggest solutions
Inform customers of deals and promotions
Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments
Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
Maintains historical records by microfilming and filing documents
Disburses petty cash by recording entry; verifying documentation
Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
2 or more years of accounting experience *OR*Bachelor degree in Accounting.
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent typing and computer skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well.
Be a team player, ready to assist and do whatever it takes.
Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, analytical, efficient, and organized.
General Math Skills

Vendor Relationships
A Plus:
Experience with ERP or Accounting Information Systems such as Quickbooks, SAP, Infor, etc.
