OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The Quality Assurance component of this role is to ensure the quality and integrity of all software products developed by Foreside through monitoring processes and procedures in product development and through product testing. The Business Analyst component of the role is to work with various users to develop and document business requirements specifications and provide application analyst support for assigned applications. Both role components involve working as part of teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Assurance:
Responsible for testing, quality tracking and quality maintenance as part of a team supporting advanced software systems
Ensures a high level of quality in all stages of software development from planning through implementation
Writes and maintains product documents and user documents geared to effective and accurate communication
Business Analyst:
Performs requirements gathering, analysis and management to optimize the value of software systems to the business
Work independently with users to develop and document business requirements specifications through interviews, analysis and requirements workshops.
Provide application analyst support to assigned applications including assisting with administration, preparing documentation, testing of upgrades and releases, and staff training.
Successfully engage and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Assume ownership of assigned projects and assigned applications to provide high quality service
Additional Responsibilities:

Follow all applicable laws, regulations and Company policies and report any potential or perceived violations of applicable laws, rules or Company policies

QUALIFICATIONS (Personal, Educational, Experience)
Bachelor?s Degree preferably in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; Master?s degree preferred
3-5 years? experience in a combination of commercial software testing and systems analysis
Knowledge of software development life cycle and software development environments
Experience with different aspects of software testing including functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing as well as release management
Experience with requirements gathering, analysis and organization
Experience with test plan design, test design and testing management
Demonstrated knowledge of design, usability assessment and systematic testing of user interfaces
Demonstrated familiarity with productivity tools such as bug tracking systems and Excel
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
