Staff Accountant Job Opening in Wilmington, North carolina - Tailwind MC, LLC, a national airport concessionaire, is looking to fulfill the position of a Staff Accountant. Tailwind is in a strong growth stage, actively expanding operations into new market places, and is seeking a motivated and organized individual to provide support to its Executive Team.
The position requires a candidate with extension experience as a staff or senior accountant. Therefore, the candidate should have a solid knowledge of debits and credits, the ability to develop a strong familiarity with the chart of accounts and the varius financial statements, journal transactions, reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, create and enter inter-company transactions and all other task required to maintain a complete and accurate accounting system. Also, a four year degree with a major in accounting is preferred. This appointment will be a full-time engagement, paid on an salary basis, requiring a 5 day/week commitment. Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.
The position will be based out of Tailwind's Wilmington, NC headquarters location and will report directly to the Director of Bookkeeping, who will provide on-site comprehensive training of all responsible duties. A minimum of 3 years' experience - preferably in the Office Administration, Finance and Accounting fields - is necessary for consideration of the position, with QuickBooks proficiency a plus.
