We are seeking a Cost Accountant for our Sanford, NC office. Candidate must have at bachelor?s degree in accounting, engineering, or math. Applicant must have strong PC skills and be very proficient in Excel. The ideal candidate would also have good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with manufacturing, process control, accounting, and other departments as necessary. Experience in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
Responsibilities include:
Structure and maintain Standard Cost System across multiple plants and product lines.
Setup and maintain costs of individual products.
Manufacturing variance reporting
Assist with variance analysis and improvement
Involvement in annual budgeting process
Other special cost projects as required
