For over 23 years, RCA's employees have been dedicated advocates for hospitals and the patients they serve. We are looking to add to our superior team with our opening for a Patient Support Representative.
The ideal candidate will provide the highest quality of service to our client include:
- Screen all self-pays for determination of possible 3rd party assistance and/or charity care.
- Accurately predict and assist patient in obtaining all necessary documents to complete application.
- Update the patient's file and appropriate computer systems each time the account is worked.
- Acting as liaison between patient, hospital, and agency during the application determination process.
- Additional job responsibilities include processing return mail, filing, scanning, faxing, mass mail-outs, ordering supplies, and any additional duties as assigned.
Requirements: Ideal candidates will provide the highest quality of Customer Service to patients, hospital staff, co-workers, agencies and guests.
Candidate qualifications include, but not limited to:
- At least 1-2 years Customer Service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, with both face-to-face and phone interaction
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Must be a problem solver, able to look deeper into an issue and create a solution
- Must be able to type at least 50 wpm
- Must be self-motivated, dependable and reliable
- Prior Medicaid experience a plus
- Bachelor?s Degree a plus
