Accounting Supervisor Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - Gerety & Associates CPA's in Las Vegas has an opening for a full-time Accounting Supervisor with the following :
CPA with minimum 4 years of public accounting experience preparing/reviewing full disclosure compiled/reviewed financial statements
Thorough knowledge of GAAP and FASB
Proficient in researching technical and accounting issues
Proficient technical skills working with accounting tools and resources
Responsible for managing risk assessment, peer review, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies
Responsible for managing and supervising the execution of financial statement engagements
Responsible for managing client accounts including billing, fee analysis and collections
Experience in identifying and addressing client needs and suggesting solutions
Responsible for new business development by building, maintaining and utilizing client relationship networks and community involvement
Responsible for managing resource requirements, project workflow and budgets
Proficient in preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal communications
Experience as a team leader, supervising teams and coaching and training staff including providing timely, meaningful written and verbal feedback
Business and personal tax preparation experience a plus
