Foreman- Vault and Manhole Auditor Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - The Foreman will actively collect pole and underground facility data to support the engineering and design of fiber optic and telephone facilities. This Field Position will support outside plant engineering and fiber-optic construction projects in various areas of Las Vegas and Central Utah through specialized and efficient data collection. Relevant experience is preferred, but Osmose will support the training the ideal candidate as needed to perform all required duties.
Responsibilities:
Operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard hat, safety vests, work boots, etc.)
Collect data at a high level of accuracy utilizing a variety of electronic equipment.
Must consistently maintain acceptable levels of productivity.
Submit all required administrative paperwork and data on schedule, and electronically submit a payroll at the end of each week.
Maintain positive relations with company employees, customer contacts and the general public.
Work professionally in the field as a representative of Osmose and its customers.
Interface and communicate effectively on a daily basis with the Operations, Engineering and Project Management teams.
Collect both digital and hand written notes and drawings on conduit usage and capacity
Checks work area to ensure it has been cleaned upon completion of work and properly disposes of debris
Writes any necessary reports, completes forms, posts information on computer, finds customer information on computer as required and directed;

Requirements:
Experience working along right of way excavation, trenching, horizontal directional drilling, installing underground utilities and utility vaults including fiber placement preferred
Understanding of installation of underground dry utilities
Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings/prints
Determine what is necessary to accomplish tasks and meet NESC standards as well as any other requirements.
Understand the scope of work quoted on the estimate from service manager.
Notify Project Manager if changes to scope are being requested or required.
Must be flexible with hours, shifts and various geographic locations between Utah, Arizona, and Las Vegas. Travel up to 2 weeks at a time.
Confined Space Certification is strongly preferred but not required. With assistance, the selected applicant would be required to get a CS Cert within 1-2 weeks of hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $23.00 /hour
