Management and Consulting team works daily with facilities large and small, corporate owned to family operated.
As part of the Consulting team, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing on-site services to clients, working with their staff to conduct Mock Surveys, provide Compliance Consulting, assist with preparation of the Plan of Correction, Post Survey Implementation and Policy & Procedures updates.
Qualifications
Required Licenses:
Registered Nurse, currently licensed in Alabama
Specialty Care Assisted Living Facility, License I and II (Active)
Experience:
Candidate must have at least 3 years of work experience in an assisted living or specialty care facility.
Areas of Responsibility:
Registered Nurse Consultant must be knowledgeable and experienced with federal and state regulations governing Assisted Living facilities (ALF) and Specialty Care Assisted Living facilities (SCALF) by ADPH. Includes preparing the client?s facility for the State Survey performed by the state?s regulatory office.
Registered Nurse (RN) Consultant will be required to provide Clients with 24/7 On-Call Services and On-Site Presence during any State Survey.
RN Consultant must be able to identify problems within the client?s facility and recommend solutions for correction and under the direction of the RN, BSN, Director of Clinical Services.
RN Consultant will be responsible for preparing plans for Exit Conferences, verbally review all findings with the key personnel, provide written reports outlining the findings and recommendations for correction.
RN Consultant will be required to evaluate and improve client?s facility processes, from the handling of physician's orders and medication delivery to the establishment of committees to manage quality assurance, safety and admissions.
Education and training of licensed and non-licensed staff, communication with ancillary departments to ensure care is provided in accordance with care plans currently in place or recommended.
Maintain company standards involving ethical and moral character while professional representing the company.
Travel Required
The RN Consultant will be required to travel to areas around Montgomery, Alabama and facilities located in areas in the southern part of the state (Alabama). Occasional travel may include other surrounding states.
Physical Demands:
Lift 11 to 25 lbs: Occasionally may be required when dealing with boxes, files or medical equipment.
Lift 26 to 50lbs: Occasionally required when assisting with resident care.
Sitting: Frequent for long periods, occasionally up to 2 to 3 hours at a time and during travel
Reports to: RN, BSN, Director of Clinical Services for daily reporting and the Vice President of Operations as necessary.
