Assisted Living Administrator Job Opening in Gulf Shores, Alabama - We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Administrator with a passion for leading a dynamic team. The Administrator must hold an Alabama SCALF license, (Level II).
Responsibilities include planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of a Specialty Care Assisted Living Facility (SCALF) in compliance with current federal, state and local guidelines and regulations.
Must have experience and knowledge in compliance with the company's Corporate policies and procedures, which are directed by the Corporate Executive staff and the Corporate Medical Director to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Ensure the facility meets or exceeds budgeted occupancy projections set forth by Area Corporate Management.
Requires an understanding of the physical as well as the mental and emotional needs of geriatric patients and their family members or sponsors.
Assume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the overall management and control of the activities and programs of the property, its residents and financial assets.
Requirements - Education and Experience
Must possess a current Alabama Assisted Living Administrator's License as well as an Alabama Category II Assisted Living Administrator's License.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a retirement community/senior living management or other healthcare-related industry is required.
Certification and/or Completion of Dementia/Alzheimer's training program.
