Software Developer - Unique Opportunity Job Opening in Fort Worth, Texas - Position Description
We are looking for a full-time programmer to create new management systems for human resources and finance within our company. This is a unique opportunity as you will be working with company management to essentially create a web-based application from scratch. You will be the driving force and sole on this application. You will influence design, coding, look, feel, and performance. We are looking for someone who can work independently, be creative, and with a passion to ?take ownership? of this project.
Essential Functions:
Gather software requirements from internal operations
Architect, develop and implement software systems
Design and implement databases, and applications according to best practices and coding standards
Resolve and troubleshoot small and complex issues
Works closely with clients in identifying scope and estimating projects
Gathers and documents requirements and technical specifications
Adhere to policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications, including time management, productivity, and accuracy
Performs other IT duties as required
Qualifications:
High degree of competence in analyzing business needs and transferring them to new application
Possess knowledge of computer hardware and software
Willingness to think outside the box and to utilize to make a difference
Required Skills 1 ? 3+ years:
Experience in software development
Web services and Web API
SQL Server (stored procedures, jobs, triggers, query optimization)
Knowledge of IT infrastructure and related technologies (hardware, virtualization, networking)
Education:
Bachelor?s degree Information Technology, Systems Engineer or a related field preferred
