Sales Coordinator Job Opening in Fort Mitchell, Alabama - We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Sales Coordinator to provide the necessary support to the field sales team (Dealers). The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation and information. The Sales Coordinator for this position must be knowledgeable about horses in order to understand the Client's needs.
The goal is to facilitate the team?s activities so as to maximize their performance and the solid and long-lasting development of the company.
Responsibilities
Coordinate Dealers by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information
Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material
Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested
Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports
Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness
Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems
Create and oversee purchase orders to vendors
Monitor the team?s progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements
Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events
Ensure adherence to laws and policies
Take orders over the phone, Email, Facebook message request
Invoice sales on QuickBooks and PayPal, Refund if necessary
Communicate sales with other team members
Prepare and pack shipments, prepare shipping labels
Assist with unpacking freight deliveries
Take payments from Clients via card reader, check, cash and enter them into necessary software
Requirements
Proven experience in sales; experience as a sales person or coordinator or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus but are not a requirement.
Good computer skills (MS Office)
QuickBooks experience a plus, but not a requirement (Invoicing, Refunds, Sales Receipts)
Pleasant and welcoming towards our clients via phone, email and direct contact
Knowledge about horses
The ability to quickly and efficiently learn about our large line of products
Proficiency in English. Spanish and/or German a plus, but not a requirement.
Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A team player with high level of dedication
BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing will be an asset. Minimum requirement: Highschool diploma or equivalent.
