Accounting Manager -Operations (Construction) Job Opening in San Francisco, California - Indeed Hire is partnering with our client Building Maintenance (Confidential Company) to source an Accounting Manager -Operations (Construction) to join its offices based in San Francisco, CA. This role will take full ownership of the accounting department, but will also provide wider business governance in partnership with the owners of the business.
Responsibilities for the role of Accounting Manager- Operations (Construction)
Financial reporting to monitor A/R Aging, accuracy of billings, payroll and payments to subcontractors, job costing.
Consolidated financial reporting of two legal entities.
Operations Management that will entail the supervision of 4-5 office staff members, holding weekly meetings with them to review their work product.
Review of 401k plan, Insurance; investigation of various options for the business and involvement in rolling out preferred choice.
Month end, Quarter, Year end close.
Ad hoc reporting & process improvement.
Assume operational functionality of business while ownership is away.
Requirements for the role of Accounting Manager- Operations (Construction)
5+ Years experience as a controller or within a leadership capacity (Accounting)
Construction industry experience.
Experience in a General manager capacity.
Excellent communication skills (Written/Verbal)
Advanced Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of QuickBooks.
