Key Responsibilities:
Maintain daily billing, collections, payables and businesses credit process
Record all transactions and journal entries
Keep records and systems with GAAP
Interface with banks, insurance and assist in Human Resource functions
Identify continuous improvement with purchasing, and cost efficiency
Maintain employee time-sheets and records
Implement processes for establishing, monitoring and reporting on performance against KPIs
Prepare monthly and quarterly tax returns
Reconcile monthly bank statements and monitor cash flow on a daily basis
Analyze the profitability of specific products, services, and customers
Lead annual financial statement audit process
Assist with timely filing of all tax returns
Prepare weekly reports assigned for management meetings
Required Skills:
Min 3+yrs experience in Accounting & Financial Management
Excellent knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) with in-depth knowledge of financial reporting,
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
Highly competent in pivot tools, including word processing and spreadsheet software
Detailed, process oriented and highly organized
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong PC, application and network troubleshooting skills
Qualifications are preferred:
Knowledge of 3rd party Freight Management and related business for logistics and transportation management
