Software Engineer Job Opening in Hollis, New hampshire - This individual is responsible for contributions to Software projects for Pneucleus Technologies LLC. This person is expected to be responsible for well-designed and well tested code, and to apply creative solutions to problems.
Responsibilities
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements embedded software programming applications
Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems
Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software to meet changing needs
Ensures that software activities are appropriate for the design and maintenance of mass flow controllers
Write and maintain design documentation, and testing requirements
Participate in product design reviews
Perform other duties as required
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in software engineering completed or being pursued or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated working knowledge of electrical engineering and software design
Skills and Competencies
Strong software programming skills; proficient in C code required
MSP430 Microprocessor experience preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated understanding of software engineering development skills
Able to generate and maintain accurate records
Able to work from schematic drawings
Basic understanding of analog design including signal conditioning and operational amplifiers
Abe to work with minimal supervision while still meeting deadlines
This is a contract position to begin with an estimated 16 hours per week of work. Hourly contract rate is to be dependent on experience and proficiency. Time forecasting for specific projects will be expected for budgeting and planning purposes. Please read more about what we do at /about/.
