Quality Inspector Job Opening in Easley, South carolina - Primary Purpose
The Quality Inspector utilizes quality control systems to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals.
Essential Duties
Partner with team leaders and supervisors to develop plans that improve productivity and reliability.
Assist with on-line quality control training.
Audit and enforce the use of inspection check sheets and procedures. Do customer required first piece paperwork.
Other duties as assigned.
Conduct inspections for quality in all departments to include: improper welds, loose/missing hardware, paint defects.
Maintain ISO standards and train others to ISO standards. %
Other Duties
Clear and immediate communication to appropriate personnel of necessary concerns related to product development and production; providing guidance and support as appropriate.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
1 year required in Quality Inspection.
Education
High School Diploma/GED
Wage and Hours
Compensation will start at $11.
This is a job-shop environment with a schedule that requires 45-60 per week, depending on customer needs.
Start time is 6 am and end of shift hours will be based off of daily requirements.
Mon-Fri with possible overtime to include the weekends. Flexibility of working hours is a must for this position.
