Position Summary:
The Night Front Desk Supervisor leads the night shift with passion, drive and enthusiasm for our Front Desk team for creating a personalized and unparalleled arrival and departure experience as well as anticipating guest needs. This involves training, coaching and supervising as well as maintaining security of the hotel facility. This position has a direct impact on creating an unsurpassed guest experience and the fluidity of consistent service delivery.
Essential Functions
Responsible for ensuring that the Front Desk Department is providing unparalleled service during the evening hours.
Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire team members to meet and exceed standards while promoting empowerment.
Train, coach, and supervise according to DCH standards of operation.
Build morale and spirit amongst the front desk team encouraging cohesiveness.
Maintain standards of guest service as established by the Dimond Center Hotel.
Interact positively with guests and take action to resolve problems to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
Actively solicit TripAdvisor feedback and ensure all team members consistently promote it.
Promote a guest service culture and actively instill service excellence into our team members.
Follow cash handling and auditing procedures as outlined by the accounting department.
Ensure that proper procedures for dealing with injury, system failures, fire alarms, security incidents and other emergencies are followed. Report any unsafe conditions as appropriate.
Work closely with Housekeeping to communicate special requests, early departures, late check outs, room changes, extended stays, out-of-order rooms and other changes to guest rooms.
Actively collect and meticulously record forms of payment, deposits, guest information, email information, all guest room occupants and phone numbers.
Attend all scheduled shifts, including weekend and holiday shifts in accordance with the schedule.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand and move throughout the hotel property and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to sit, type, answer phones, write correspondence and other office-related duties for extended and repeated periods of time.
Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs.
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree highly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
Hospitality experience highly preferred.
