Staff Accountant (Part-Time) Job Opening in Fishers, Indiana - The Staff Accountant will provide support to Fuzic?s Executive Controller in maintaining company financial records, recording transactions, interfacing with vendors, customers, intermediaries, sales and other internal departments.
Responsibilities, Required Skills & Experience
About 20-25 hours/week to start, but could expand to additional hours after 6 months. Preference given to candidates that can work 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We?re flexible about which hours you work each day, but would want you to be consistent once your schedule is established. We could accommodate a 4-day work week for the right candidate.
Prefer someone with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, not Finance.
Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
Typical staff accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card transactions and troubleshooting
Ad hoc projects including occasional bank deposits, bank reconciliations and general office help, such as ordering supplies
Would be nice to be familiar with journal entries and general ledger account analysis
Proficiency with QuickBooks highly desirable
