It is just one of four restaurant concepts that are operated by the Sunset Restaurant Management Group, which currently has 10 locations throughout Southern California. We are constantly acquiring new restaurants/bars, so now is the time to join our rapidly expanding company! We are hiring a full time General Manager position at our Santa Monica Blvd (Boys Town) location. This position requires extensive floor managing in one of our busiest properties. Our ideal candidate will have: -A minimum of 4 years experience in a management capacity, preferably in a non-corporate as well as corporate chain restaurant (i.e. Fridays, Acapulco, El Torito, Chuy's, Hooters, etc.). -Ability to manage supporting Management Staff, FOH staff & BOH staff. -Excellent communication, organizational and administrative skills. -A mature, professional demeanor. -Skilled in scheduling, customer service, problem solving, cash handling, bar cost controls, inventory, pour controls, implementing policies, high volume purchasing and liquor promotions. -Results oriented. -A gay-friendly, happy & upbeat demeanor. -Knowledge of ALOHA systems preferred but not necessary.
