Electricians and Lighting Techs Needed Job Opening in dallas, Texas - Electricians and Lighting Techs Needed We are an Electrical/Lighting company focusing on lighting retrofit and relamping that has been in business for over 12 years. We are based in Texas with operations in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Austin & San Antonio. We are looking for qualified Electricians and Lighting Techs to assist with our expanding business in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area. The main work of our company involves installing new LED & florescent fixtures, retrofitting existing lighting fixtures (installing new ballasts, lamps and sockets into existing fixtures), installing new fixtures and re-lamping retail stores. Some jobs require changing of and/or relocating existing lighting fixtures. We also have several contracts for simple re-lamping of fixtures as well. We are looking for qualified people, with reputable backgrounds, that can be placed on various jobs where complete background checks are conducted, such as schools, hospitals and government installations. Complete background checks will be conducted prior to employment. One of our current contract assignments involves replacing existing florescent fixtures with new LED fixtures. Prior experience in this type of installation is would be an advantage. All applicants should have prior experience with references. We are paying piecework per job assignment. The rates vary depending on the job and are relative to the amount of work involved. The work can vary from a simple lamp and ballast retrofit, relamping existing fixtures to complete fixture replacement. Through experience, our Lighting Techs are making between $x - $250 per day.
