ERP Project Manager Job Opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma - What is the position?
The ERP Project Manager will work closely with the Development teams and DBA's to update the organization's ERP system.
What will you do?
As an ERP Project Manger, you will:
Lead teams in an enterprise-wide upgrade of their ERP system
Lead the staff and team to resolve issues and ensure all projects are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Develop and monitor a detailed project plan and track the process.
Assist and create the definition of the project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility and including all relevant stakeholders.
Manage all relevant changes to the projects process while managing the projects performance.
Estimate project costs, prepare a project budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions to meet financial objectives.
What are the requirements?
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Management or related field.
6-8 years? experience managing projects and participation in all phases of the project lifecycle.
Experience with Oracle Financials preferred (e-business suite)
Demonstrated use of PMP, PMI techniques or similar project management practices.
Solid understanding of the Project Lifecycle (PLC), Project & Portfolio Management processes & best practices and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile etc.) required.
Demonstrated track record of driving projects to meet business requirements on time and within budget and manage project teams to meet challenging delivery dates.
Ability to drive discussions across multiple business and IT areas to manage tasks, resolve issues, etc.
