JobSync is partnering with a person-job fit research firm that has 50 years of experience in matching candidates with compatible jobs. In addition, one of JobSync's advisors is a Harvard professor who is expert in matching algorithms and serves as an advisor to a leading dating site also based in Santa Monica. Position JobSync is looking for a Senior Front End Developer to join this exciting new venture and drive the launch and continued development of its website. In order to be a member of the web development team, the successful candidate must be: Experienced with HTML, CSS, Javascript (AJAX, jQuery), and Flash Experienced with cutting up PSD files Experienced with scaling and troubleshooting code Able to quickly learn an existing codebase Experienced in working together in a closely knit team environment Innovative, with proven experience in solving hard problems with unclear solutions Able to work with minimal supervision Leading candidates will have: Strong hands-on experiencing writing code for a large scale web sites (millions of visitors per month) Experience using Python and Django Understands technical architecture and the use of memcache, CDNs, and load balancers Well-versed in development in a linux environment using apache and Google App Engine Educational background in Computer Science Ability to thrive in a results-driven environment with competing priorities Timing and location The company has completed an initial round of seed fundraising, and is in the middle of an additional round of angel funding. A Series A round of venture capital funding is expected to be closed before the end of 2011. The Senior Front End Developer will be based at the company's headquarters in Santa Monica, CA.
