CURiO? is a non-union multi-site company seeking a Temporary Part Time Customer Service Specialist. This position will begin daily at 8:30am and will be 20 hours a week from now until January.
Job Summary:
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for assisting CURiO wholesale, direct and/or international customers and sales representatives and consumers with product and account information, order entry, order status and problem solving in a timely, pleasant, and positive manner. This position is responsible for coordinating incoming customer orders in an accurate and prompt manner while representing CURiO?s customers? best interest and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service Support
Respond to all requests made by reps, wholesale customers, and/or consumers. All inquiries including product information, product availability, pricing, order status, as well as information relating to retail accounts, specific territories, and new account inquiries
Craft responses and reply to all ecommerce, rep, retail customer, email inquiries
Set up new, direct, and international customers in Syteline and CURiOnet accurately and consistently
Coordinate changes and work with Accounting to monitor and resolve issues regarding stopped orders, sales rep account issues
Process exchanges, returns and credits, and documentation through CSRs, verify accuracy of current accounts for store closures or new locations
Monitor CURiOSHIP and expedition of CURiOnet orders
Answer general questions for wholesale and/or international retailers and retail consumers including store referrals, product information, product availability, pricing, order status, new product information and a history of the CURiO via phone, mail, fax or email
Order Processing- wholesale
Working in partnership with the Credit team, evaluate account for credit, qualifying minimums and territory and billing issues
Maintain and update retail customer and consumer records
Process sample request or showrooms, sales reps, wholesale accounts, and brochure requests for consumers
Investigate, process and resolve issues regarding shipped orders
Process consumer and accommodation orders
Process customer and retail orders manually (checks, money orders etc)
Communicate issues, retail customer and consumer comments, and trends to Customer Service Leader, or appropriate internal personnel
Respond to invoice, pricing, and billing questions
Monitor and resolve UPS notifications
Order Processing- Direct
Process incoming orders from new and existing , wholesale and retail consumers, sales representatives and paying special attention to customer, credit, shipping and opening requirements through Syteline, CURiOnet or company websites
Order Processing- International Distributors
Ensure professional and timely services for CURiO international distributors and retailers (process international orders, including all necessary export transactions, coordinate delivery of international shipments, provide customs and regulatory documentation as needed, and work with appropriate vendors to improve order processing)
Investigate, process and resolve issues regarding shipped orders
Other responsibilities
Assist Digital Marketing Team with projects as needed (such as reviewing digital content, testing digital functionality, and assisting in administrative tasks)
Serve as backup for reception (all)
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak English clearly and professionally on telephone
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and the Internet ? ability to quickly learn CURiO specific systems such as Syteline, CURiOnet
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to be adaptable, flexible, and proactive
Ability to successfully handle difficult situations, or escalate as appropriate
Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize work assignments and meet necessary deadlines
Ability to maintain and protect company proprietary information
Strong decision-making ability and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years? experience in customer service related field
Excellent math skills and ability to perform basic math functions including percentages
