Position Description:
The position will sell our portfolio of industrial heat tracing products and services throughout North Dakota. This is a high potential territory with only 25% overnight travel anticipated. This position requires a commitment to solving customer problems and presenting yourself as a ?solutions provider?. You will be representing and working with the recognized industry leader of electric heat tracing in a well-established territory. Your integrity, passion, and 'Win Right' philosophy will ensure your success. The position will be supported by a world class sales organization which will equip you with the tools and training necessary to be super successful in the role.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with existing distribution channel
Educate and train end users and contractors
Interface effectively with key suppliers
Work with engineers and contractors on heat trace designs
Create ?take-offs? from drawings and line lists
Present proposals and close sales
Act as a business resource to our customers
Manage project procurement, schedule and commissioning
Requirements:
Industrial sales experience preferred
Background in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines preferred
Understanding of Relationship
Effectively build relationships with new customers as well as maintain existing accounts
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Effective oral and written communication skills
Travel within territory required
