Accounting/Grants Director (Appointed) Job Opening in Detroit, Michigan - Director of Grants Accounting
salary range $90k-$118K
Responsible for assisting with the end to end fiscal management of a portfolio of government/private grants and administration of a Grants Accounting team.
Summary: The ideal candidate will be able to set-up Budgets, ensure timely and accurate submission of reports and ensure timely submission of Fiscal/Financial reports.
This position requires an analytical and solution driven approach and the ability to understand the bigger picture and related moving parts of the accounting and budgeting cycles to successfully perform job functions.
In addition, this role will need to ensure proper internal controls, policies and procedures are in place.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor in Accounting/Finance
CPA and/or CIA Preferred
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, OMB and Municipal Accounting
Job Type: Appointed 1yr (possibility of extension)
