Staff/Senior Accountant Job Opening in Southfield, Michigan - Our Client is looking for a STAFF/SENIOR ACCOUNTANT located in Southfield, MI.
SUMMARY
This position will have heavy exposure to operations and significant advancement potential with a growing company that is a leader in their industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Ledger and month end closing experience.
Experience with treasury management.
Ability to work with multiple taxing jurisdictions.
Prepare/review account analyses; investigate and resolve variances as needed.
Multiple years of retail accounting experience a preferred.
Strong conceptual knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
Strong analytical, written communication and interpersonal skills.
?Internal Drive? with a willingness and desire to learn as well as advance rapidly within the organization.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or business field
2-5+ years of experience in Public Accounting or corporate industry accounting experience
