Shift Supervisor Job Opening in Appleton, Wisconsin - DEPARTMENT: Hours will be 12 hour night shift (6:00pm to 6:00 am)
JOB DUTIES :
Supervise and coordinate the work of the hourly employees on assigned shift.
Manage production work schedules to insure customer dates are met, including monitoring emergency orders.
Insures product meets quality specifications, and follows up on Non conformances on assigned shift..
Responsible for crew safety including but not limited to scheduling EVAP audits, conducting tool box talks, auditing PPE compliance and forklift inspections, and conducting incident investigations for safety issues on assigned shift. Serves as a trained first responder.
Responsible for shift change communication with other Shift Supervisors to maintain continuity in production.
Responsible for auditing, editing, and approving shift production time in the payroll system.
Responsible for knowing, understanding, and enforcing the bargaining unit contract.
All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE
Ability to work the 12 hour shift (6:00 pm - 6:00 am) shift schedule
Ability to lead and direct the work of others
Ability to read and understand written work instructions
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Ability to demonstrate average computer skills
