The ?ideal candidate? skill sets:
Detail oriented
Understand inventory and job costing/cost accounting
Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software
Exceptional organization and planning skills
Analytical thinking and mindset
Excellent communication and problem solving abilities
Above average spreadsheet and report creating capabilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with all departments to plan, schedule, and coordinate work flow to maintain optimum levels of product inventory
Create and maintain Item Master information
Review production and inventory costing records for accuracy
Analyze shortage reports, enter work orders, bill of materials, and shop routings
Set up inventory planners, perform physical counts, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile weekly inventory cycle counting
Compiles data and creates reports on work progress, costs, inventory levels & production efficiencies and team's performance
Assists with some purchasing responsibilities as needed
Occasional back-up support to customer service team as needed
