Area Sales Representative for Southeast territory Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Anchor Plastics, Inc. is a of injection-molded products. We are embarking on a new venture with our sister company; Anchor Tool & Plastics (located in Nogales, Mexico) which will focus on selling the contract assembly of components molded in-house. Each Area Sales Representative will operate within a defined territory, with multiple territories available.
Our ideal candidate is relationship focused with sophisticated communication skills and the ability to capitalize on opportunities on the assembly sides of the business. A dynamic sales hunter with the ability to generate new injection molding projects and contract assembly opportunities. This role is instrumental in developing and maintaining client relationships.
Sales - 85%
Drive business development with new and assigned accounts to identify and secure additional molding and assembly opportunities.
Engage prospects and position Anchor Plastics solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis and references.
Establish and create rapport with key influencers in order to support revenue and sales.
Act as a brand ambassador always seizing opportunities to increase Anchor Plastics visibility in the marketplace.
Prepare quarterly sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed assigned distributor sales expansion.
Review sales goals/targets quarterly with sales management and collaborate on strategic decisions based on analysis of results.
Must be willing to work hands on with limited back office support.
25 phone calls per day (125 per week)
Set an average of 1 appointment per 100 calls (2 per week)
Obtain 1 opportunity to quote per 1,000 phone calls (1 per month)
Have a minimum of $25,000.00 in viable quotes
Submit a WAR report
Territory Management & Sales Support - 15%
Develop and execute a territory penetration strategy.
Independently execute business/sales plans and manage territory effectively.
Utilize CRM and other tools to properly provide accurate, up-to-date information with regard to customer, activities, marketing initiatives and sales opportunities.
Manage day-to-day relationship with customers, engaging appropriate personnel for support as necessary (quality, scheduling, purchasing, customer service, engineering, etc).
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Four year degree preferred - Business, Mechanical Engineering or Related Field
3-5 years of Industrial, Assembly or Manufacturing sales experience
Strong relationship building skills
Strong planning, organization and leadership skills
Team player
Native level fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Established, qualified contacts
Salary: (1st year expected income $100,000+)
50K Base Salary
5% commission (less materials & buyouts)
50% variable pricing option.
