Quality Auditor Job Opening in Fort Wayne, Indiana - Position Summary
Visual inspection and documentation of materials required to complete production and the quality of current production and finished goods.
Responsibilities
Collect information from inspection of production and materials used for production. Document collected information on quality audit reports for each press that is running. Submission of quality audit reports.
Document operator # responsible
Assure correct resin is used in production by verifying it with the traveler
Document lot #?s for base and color resin
Document average cycle time on production monitors
Verify work instructions, samples & first part produced are available
Obtain the next shot from the press to assure all cavities are present
Inspect proper trimming of the gates
When applicable, inspect clips, foam and/or inserts are present & correctly applied
When applicable, confirm that OP# is present on each part with china marker & legible
Assure correct labels / PI tags are used
Assure correct containers / packaging are used
Assure parts in the container match the label
Assure that the pack quantity / weights are correct
When applicable, assure parts are not mixed in the container
Assure containers are on the correct skids and are not mixed
Assure that zero non-conformances are found in containers and place your stamp of approval on the label
Document reasons for down time & corrective action
Document description of nonconformance?s found
Placement of nonconforming product in the hold area with complete documentation
Approval of First Part Produced and submission of FPP to the Quality Lab
Submission of Last Part Produced to the Quality Lab
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred 6 months of work experience at Accutech for product knowledge
Ability to do basic math and legible writing
Ability to provide attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Communication skills with operators and supervisors
Ability to read, understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
Computer knowledge with e-mail account
Special Position Requirements
May be required to work overtime
May be required to work on weekends

Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Frequently bend, stoop, squat or twist
Frequently sit, stand, walk or drive
Repeatedly grasp, push/pull, or perform other finger and hand manipulations
Frequently pushing QC cart through inspections
