Mental Health Practitioner Job Opening in minneapolis, Minnesota - Mental Health Practitioner Description: The individual will work with adults with a mental health diagnosis and/or DD by teaching coping and independent living skills, as well as providing resources when necessary. The position requires frequent travel around the metro area. All mileage is reimbursed at company approved reimbursement rate. Qualifications: ? Bachelor's Degree in a behavior science or related field plus 2,000 hours of supervised experience with adults who have a major mental illness or with a serious emotional disturbance ? Have a valid drivers license ? Able to pass a background check ? Be at least 21 years of age ? Knowledge of mental health diagnoses ? Are able to conduct and write individual client assessments, as well as treatment goals ? Able to think quickly while on feet ? Be able to work independently ? Integrate team (co-workers) when appropriate ?
