This position will require an experienced S&OP (Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning) leader who is able to facilitate and drive results in a fast paced and demanding growth environment, leveraging his/her strong interpersonal and leadership skills. This role will lead the development and execution of the regional S&OP Forecast Process in SAP APO. The S&OP Process Manager creates and maintains forecast statistical models for their customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from Sales, Marketing, Commercialization, Lifecycle, PSS, and other groups within the organization. The position then leads regional cross-functional collaboration meetings with Sales to deliver an accurate Consensus Demand Plan on a weekly basis. The position will prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and guide final decision making on any open items that need closure as well as prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate. The S&OP Process Manager will analyze supply and demand issues and facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain. This is a key leadership position, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager ? Demand Planning / S&OP.
Responsibilities
Manages and leverages the Demand Planning SAP APO software as the primary forecasting system tool to create and review statistical forecasts by gathering, analyzing, and validating data. Reviews historical sales trends, researches demand drivers, prepares forecast data, develops statistical forecast models, and evaluates forecast results. Takes ownership of Bottler to Bottler statistical forecasts.
Leads the development and execution of the regional S&OP Forecast Process in SAP APO including the ownership of training and development within the tool.
Leads regional cross-functional collaboration meetings with Sales, Marketing, Commercialization, Lifecycle, and PSS to facilitate an accurate Consensus Demand Plan on a weekly basis.
Prepares all data and metrics for review, identifies gaps and guides final decision making on any open items that need closure as well as prepares escalations for executive review where appropriate.
Collaborates with Life Cycle Team to develop Commercial Leadership communications regarding innovation delays, staggered launches, and potential product availability issues or allocations.
Analyzes supply and demand issues and facilitates resolutions throughout the supply chain.
Minimum
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Modeling: Knowledge of statistical and mathematical computer programs and modeling techniques. Ability to analyze large amounts of data for developing projections and estimates.
Forecasting: Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques and inputs (e.g., business trends, seasonality, consumption patterns).
Software Applications: Strong working knowledge of SAP, APO, and advanced skills in Excel.
