Community Manager Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Marshall Management Group Inc., a 16 year community and capital asset management company, based in Houston, Texas is currently seeking Community Managers to service our ever growing client base.
The selected candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of single and multi-family home owner associations. He or she will be of high energy and must have a background in serving people, have a positive attitude that demonstrates the highest quality of customer service both on and off the job and be able to solve problems, while working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Qualified applicants will possess the following skills and abilities:
Manage multiple customers (home owner associations/boards), budgets, tasks and projects.
Be a self starter, who possesses critical thinking abilities that leads to solving problems in a positive manner.
Must have superior writing and communication skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Products) are required.
Strong customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills are all required.
A professional demeanor is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for the assigned communities (portfolio of HOAs).
Work closely with HOA board members, homeowners and vendors, while managing the operations of the portfolio.
Writing and gathering RFP?s (Request for Proposals). Reading and qualifying RFPs upon receipt and assembling the data for client approval.
Plan and prepare for community events and other tasks.
Prepare, assemble and post all necessary documentation (including meeting minutes, agendas and board packets) one week prior to and attend Board and Annual meetings that are generally held in the evenings and limited Saturdays.
Perform regular site visits and inspections. Prepare and assign vendor work orders; follow up for approvals and prepare reports as necessary.
Work with a team to resolve violations; which can require attendance at court hearings.
Able to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations by the governing bodies ie: Association Dedicatory Documents, local and state statutes.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Associates or Bachelor?s degree preferred.
Two years related experience and/or training required.
A valid driver?s license.
Dependable transportation.
Must be willing to submit to full background screening.
MMGI offers:
Salary $36,000 to $39,000.
Healthcare stipend of $150.00 per month.
