International Project Coordinator

Austin, Texas

International Project Coordinator Job Opening in Austin, Texas - Emergo, a UL company, is a consulting firm for medical device companies who are interested in selling their products worldwide. We help companies comply with medical device regulations in all major global markets. Emergo has offices in more than 20 countries. Our largest offices are The Netherlands, Brazil, Mexico, and Japan. Our global headquarters is based in Austin, Texas.
We are currently seeking an International Project Coordinator in our Austin office. The international project coordinator will work with consultants and clients to obtain regulatory approval for medical devices in the US and abroad.
As a consulting firm, the project management team at Emergo handles a high volume of small to medium sized projects. This provides an opportunity to work with many different clients and consultants, and become experienced in a variety of global services.
Project Coordinators are responsible for driving projects forward, from project initiation to final approval by the regulatory authority (e.g., the US FDA) to sell the medical device in that country. This is critical because our clients rely on these approvals before they can commercialize their device.

The individual must be a skilled writer and communicator, so they can explain regulatory concepts in a succinct and accurate way. A successful project coordinator will be someone who is organized, able to multi-task and prioritize, take initiative, and become familiar with the regulations for medical devices in specific markets.
