We are seeking to hire one Warehouse Management Intern to work at our state-of-the-art facility in Madison. The Warehouse Management Intern has the opportunity to develop analytical, process, and project management skills in this robust role. You will provide critical support for all inventory control, logistics management, and support of procurement and purchasing efforts for BioTechnique. Responsibilities:
Loading, unloading, checking, storing, moving and recording the movement of supplies, raw materials, equipment, and products to and from internal departments, external suppliers and/or customers.
Utilizing an interim inventory control system to accurately track the receipt, storage, distribution, delivery and final status of all inventory for BioTechnique and our clients.
Collaborate closely with PSC Accounting in the standardization and use of Purchase Orders (POs). Support implementation of a system to manage all BioTechnique POs, such that purchases are centrally tracked from initiation, through approval, to completion of delivery and receipt, and to closure of the PO.
Preparing bills of lading, invoices, requisitions and other documents.
Routing shipments, reviewing receipt of all materials and verifying quantities, and ensuring outgoing shipments are packaged according to specification.
Receiving and controlling stock, and other items requiring storage and distribution that are mailed from the USPS, or delivered by FedEX, UPS, and other mail delivery services.
Handling confidential correspondence.
Assisting the Quality and Manufacturing Departments with the receipt of supplies and chemicals used during manufacturing operations.
Maintaining the warehouse and cold storage area in a clean and organized manner.
Maintaining positive documentation of shipping, receiving, and inventory control documents in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
Training upon and understanding methods and SOPs.
Implementing and complying with safety initiatives. Reporting and investigating unsafe work practices and accidents.
Performing other duties as directed by your supervisor in support of BioTechnique, PSC Biotech Corporation, and our clients.

Requirements:
Education:
Minimum required education: Current student pursuing a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in a related field: e.g., Business, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, etc.
Skills /Experience:
Must have good academic qualifications and strong verbal and written communications skills.
Must be able to demonstrate a keen willingness to learn.
BioTechnique will provide both formal and informal mentoring and training.
Microsoft Office Suite
Desire to acquire real-world Procurement and Supply Chain Management experience in a short period of time.
Ability to use a typical office equipment: personal computer, printer, calculator, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, etc.
