Retail Sales Associate Job Opening in New Orleans, Louisiana - We are looking for a motivated, organized, design-savvy individual to join our team at Perch, a multifaceted & unique home furnishings store and interior design business on Magazine Street in the Garden District. Sales experience necessary, as well as knowledge of interior design & furnishings. Duties include: assisting retail customers, in-store visual merchandising & styling, organizing memo samples in fabric library, assessing necessary reorders, packing items for shipping, monitoring web sales, and assisting with design projects. Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 10:00AM until 6:00PM. This position is for a full time (40 hours) per week position. Flexibility to work Saturdays required.
Computer skills needed: Operating point of sale system, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, et al) required. Some knowledge of design software preferred, (Autocad; Photoshop SketchUp, et al);
